SCHOOL LIFE:
A Balance between Studies and Development
Hot Lunch
Our school has a cafeteria where children can eat lunch. The hot lunch service offers fresh, balanced kosher meals prepared directly on site. Students also enjoy a morning snack, usually fruit, and an afternoon snack, often a cake baked in our kitchen.

Pronote SEMESTRIAL
The Habad school uses PRONOTE software for its intranet and as a means of communication with parents. Thanks to PRONOTE, parents can access school reports, track their children's grades and communicate directly with teachers via a secure messaging system.

Coaching and academic support: Personalized support for students.
A certified coach offers personal sessions to students. “As soon as they need support, we identify it and put a program in place,” stresses Secondary School Dean Virginie Traversa. In other cases, it's at the request of a student who, for example, wants to get better organized for revision. The aim is to teach them how to learn.
Initially, the coach and student work together to define a measurable objective, setting out the various stages involved.
Support courses are also organized for students throughout their school years, according to their needs.
“It's important for students to be able to see their progress right away, to take an active role in their own learning and to enjoy a high degree of autonomy.”
- Delphine Dieupart-Perruchione,
school's designated coach
Career guidance: Internships and career preparation.
At the Habad School, we don't just prepare students for exams: our aim is to offer them a solid educational pathway that fully prepares them for the challenges of tomorrow. The question of career orientation is addressed as soon as students enter secondary school. Students are then invited to discover different professions and start thinking about their academic and professional future. The career guidance department is made up of several specialized teachers. Its mission is to help students find the best possible training to match their aspirations and skills. This enables students to find motivation and project themselves into an initial career plan.
As part of this process, Secondary I students take part in an internship to discover the world of work and, more specifically, a trade. The school also organizes regular visits to the City of Careers. In Secondary II, specialized teachers regularly monitor students to help them steer their career paths.

The Synagogue
At the heart of our school, the synagogue is much more than a place of prayer. Our students proudly master the synagogue prayer sequence. Thanks to a well-organized rota, everyone has the opportunity to serve as 'Hazan, read from the Torah and so on. These moments enrich their connection with tradition and give them the confidence to become active players in Jewish life, at school and beyond. Here, education isn't limited to books: we live our heritage with heart and soul, day after day.
Security
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Armed and trained security guards secure the site. All school staff undergo security training. This complements the technical and technological measures taken to protect the building.

SHARED MOMENTS
School Events and Activities
School trips
In addition to educational outings organized throughout the year, we also offer our students enriching school trips. These include snow classes in January-February, as well as trips to London, Berlin or Milan, offering total immersion in foreign languages.

Educational and fun outings
Students took part in an immersive visit to the heart of a beehive, discovering the essential role of bees in pollination and the importance of preserving them to maintain the balance of our ecosystem.
Others explored the Anne Frank Museum, located in the Château de Prangins, to immerse themselves in the history of the Second World War through the poignant eyes of a young girl confronted with the Shoah.
Finally, a group took part in a scientific workshop at the University of Geneva's Chimiscope, devoted to wastewater treatment and the analysis of natural water quality. The activity highlighted the importance of preserving freshwater resources, which represent just 0.007% of the water available on Earth, and are often polluted by human activities before being treated.
Ecological projects: Eco-Schools Initiative with green actions at school.
As part of the Eco-Schools program, students work together to make the school more sustainable. Young people are encouraged to play a leading role in society. To this end, a student committee, elected by the entire student body, organizes various actions. The idea is to mobilize the entire school community, while at the same time making each member a key player in the projects. Examples of actions implemented: reusable cups, waste sorting garbage cans and a “clean up day”.
"This program, recognized by the UN, aims to improve the functioning and habits of the school in terms of sustainable development."
